Almost all of our dearest Christmas traditions in the UK were adopted during the Victorian era, with the Queen's adoring husband, Prince Albert, bringing the first Christmas tree to Windsor Castle in 1848, and Charles Dickens' classic tale, A Christmas Carol, paving the way for a holiday of sending cards, gifts under the tree, Figgy Pudding and peace and goodwill to all!
Celebrate Christmas with this performance inspired by traditional Christmas carol singers: featuring classic ditties from the period (such as 'O, Christmas Tree', 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' and 'Hark the Herald'), certain to get everyone in the festive spirit! The performance also includes comic interludes between songs. We also offer a PA system, microphones, gazebo and sound technician. So if you want to have the singers in an outdoor noisy environment, they can still create a beautiful atmosphere. |
